What Is Coolant/Antifreeze?

Coolant, also known as antifreeze, is much more than just a liquid that prevents freezing in the winter. It is the primary “ingredient” in ensuring your engine runs at the right temperature in all conditions. Having fresh and clean coolant in your engine can guard your vehicle against overheating, corrosion, and engine component damage.

Our Coolant/Antifreeze Services

At our coolant service shop in O’Fallon, MO, we take maintenance very seriously. Our skilled technicians bring decades of combined experience to the table, and we make sure nothing goes amiss when inspecting your coolant levels, color, and quality. When your coolant has degraded and lost its protective properties, we are happy to perform coolant flushes to remove old coolant and replace it so that it can continue to provide optimal engine protection. Rest assured that our 3-year/36,000 mile NAPA warranty has you covered.

How Often Should You Have Your Coolant Changed?

The recommended interval for coolant replacement varies depending on the type of coolant used and your vehicle's make and model. It's advisable to have your coolant replaced every 30,000 to 60,000 miles.

We take pride in being a NAPA Gold Certified and CarFax Auto Tech Auto Center, as we service every car, SUV, and truck to the highest quality standards.
